MOCA and Francesco Vezzoli Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams were the picture of humility and grace while battling it out for best actress honors at Sunday’s Academy Awards — but behind closed doors have the stars been a bit more rough and tumble? In a satirical short conceived by artist Francesco Vezzoli and directed by Roman Polanski, the actresses mock the type of commercial seduction traditionally employed by fragrance advertisements. Set in an elegant boudoir, the starlets orbit a bottle of the imagined fragrance Greed, but when Williams gets a little too hands-on, the two engage in some Black Swan- style combat. Now that’ s what we call a red-carpet showdown! For a limited time the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles has transformed the MOCA website into an exhibition space for Greed, A New Fragrance by Francesco Vezzoli , where you can check out the 60-second short. – Justine Harman CATCH UP ON MORE CELEBRITY FRAGRANCE NEWS

Mark J. Terrill/AP; Steve Granitz/WireImage When best actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence descended upon the scene at the Kodak Theatre Sunday night, everything from her form-skimming column dress to her tousled locks struck a chord in viewers’ collective Oscar memories. And it wasn’t that she looked sensational, which she undeniably did, but that the entire look was so very reminiscent of Scarlett Johansson ‘s va-va-voom turn at the 2006 Golden Globes. From the décolletage to the platinum mane, the Calvin Klein-wearing newcomer was a dead ringer for a scarlet Valentino-clad Scarlett. Though one thing that was decidedly different: As far as we know, Isaac Mizrahi kept his hands to himself ! Tell us: Which leading lady in red was your favorite?

After all the cute commercials we saw leading up to the Oscar awards show with Anne Hathaway and James Franco, I was looking forward to a new and fresh award ceremony. As hard as Hathaway tried, and you could tell she was trying, she just wasn’t able to pull it off. As for Franco, he looked like a deer in headlights most of the time, stunned with nothing to say. Hathaway was just about the only person laughing at her “jokes”. Both of these actors are great, I just hope this doesn’t hurt their careers.

WireImage; Getty Dressing for awards shows while trying to work around a baby bump is no easy task, but that hasn’t stopped Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman from rocking it on the red carpet ! In January, Portman was a vision in white in a form-fitting Azzaro column gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she picked up the trophy for best actress for her role in Black Swan . In mid-February, she accentuated her growing bump (and nabbed another acting award) with a beautifully draped Viktor & Rolf gown with a hand-embroidered Swarovski crystal rose. And Portman wowed the crowd at the Academy Awards in Hollywood Sunday night, where she wore an off-the-shoulder , empire-waisted violet Rodarte with Swarovski crystal beading to accept her best actress statuette. Paul Drinkwater/NBC Lady Gaga has managed the near-impossible feat of keeping almost all the details of her debut fragrance under wraps–but the singer is coming clean about one of the perfume’s rumored notes: blood. “I wanted to extract sort of the feeling and the sense of blood…from molecular structures,” she says on Australian radio program The Kyle and Jackie O Show , before clarifying, “that is in the perfume — but it doesn’t smell like that.” Gaga also reveals that this particular ingredient was sourced very close to home: “It was taken out of my own blood sample,” explaining, “so it’s a sense of having me on your skin.” But if the scent won’t smell like blood, what can we expect? “Actually the perfume smells like an expensive hooker,” she says. Gaga’s debut scent with Coty is anticipated to launch in spring of 2012
