Shake Table Testing at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo Study to evaluate racking deformations of a rectangular subway cross-section in soft clay due to Soil Structure Interaction (SSI). 10th scale model subway cross-section is embedded in column of model scale soft clay within a flexible cylindrical container. Three historical earthquakes are considered in two principle directions each.
