Eighteen Hundred Plus Firefighters continue to fight the flames of the La Brea Fire. The total acreage burned so far has exceeded Sixty Seven Thousand. The La Brea Fire is located in California. The Major portion of the blaze is halfway between Santa Maria and Cuyama in the Los Padres National Forest.

Heavy afternoon gusts drove the flames to the Moon and Spoors Canyon drainages in the region of Monday’s slop over on the eastern flank preceding Cuyama Valley.
