This is Reuben’s premiere performance as the recipient of the G. Roger Bailey Classical Guitar Scholarship. Reuben has been studying under Marilyn Blodget of Atascadero for the past six months. Reuben’s recital will include music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th Century eras. $15 donations are suggested at the door.

John McEuen, founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, will be playing live music with special guests Nathan McEuen Band and Chelsea Williams. Cost is $30. dinner will be available from Hospitality Catering ($12). A portion of the proceeds go to Escuela del Rio.

Festival Mozaic Summer Music Series Brings the World to California’s Central Coast Summer Festival, July 16-26, 2009, will focus on “world roots” and the musical infl uences of diverse cultures Festival Mozaic (formerly the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival) has announced its 2009 summer season of concerts and events. The 39th Annual Festival will take place July 16 to 26, 2009, and offers a musical immersion into fi ve centuries of some of the world’s greatest and evolving classical music.
