<description>Encircling my house in Cambria, we are still chopping up trees that fell and fixing houses that have been damaged by this storm.
One home had major damage to their roof from a fallen tree (which is still in repair). An additional tree had slightly damaged the eve of a yet another roof. Furthermore one more fell on a deck, but not much harm done there.
Our house had 1 tree on our roof, being held up by a single branch. Would the branch have broke, it would have landed thru the Master BR and Bath. The tree was removed about 1 week later, and luckily no damage was had.
Then yes, you guessed it... More damage was had, but not to a dwelling. Our neighbor had a tree land on their cars and work truck.
That storm was not only damaging in the Central coast but in many places of CA. as well. Such as Pine Mtn. Club, by the Frazier Park area.
We have a close family friend who&#039;s child was killed in that storm (He had just turned 21 a few days before). While sleeping in bed at his family home, a 100 ft. tree fell on top of him. His father who was also in the home at the time, was not harmed.
This storm has been a detriment to so many.
