Courtesy Interview Magazine When asked if she’s into fashion, Helena Bonham Carter simply replies, “All I’m into is dressing up .” That could be an understatement; the actress often wears polarizing ensembles — and is quite aware of the negative attention such outfits attract. Speaking to Daniel Radcliffe in the latest issue of Interview , the Dark Shadows star says clothing often changes how she feels. “I think I transform into somebody else,” she explains, “and then you see the photo and go, ‘That’s so not what I meant …’ It’s the disappointment after

Courtesy Guess It’s hard to believe, but Guess turns 30 this year, and to celebrate, the brand is bringing back a true original: 1989 Guess girl Claudia Schiffer. “She was a turning point of Guess … Guess was a turning point of a life for Claudia,” CEO and creative director Paul Marciano tells WWD . The first iconic photo of her , wearing nothing but a black lace bustier, “made her career in my view, and that made Guess a different company. Everybody talked about the Guess girl.” For the new campaign, Schiffer was shot in Sorrento, Italy, under the creative direction of Marciano — who was on set for her first-ever Guess shoot — and by Ellen Von Unwerth, the photographer who took that original, iconic portrait. “Guess will always have a soft spot in my heart, and I’m excited that 23 years later we can still work together so successfully,” Schiffer, who starred in six campaigns from 1989-1991, tells WWD

For the multi-talented James Franco , teaming up with 7 For All Mankind jeans and creative agency Lipman was a new challenge. The resulting campaign, comprised of both digital and print components, will culminate with a full-length feature film to be released in May. “I was able to work in ways that were similar to what I do in the film world,” the actor and sometimes-photographer says in a release, “but in this case we had a tremendous amount of freedom.” Starring model Lily Donaldson as his muse, Franco’s first-person narrative is reminiscent of how it feels to be surrounded by people (in this case, at a “hedonistic house party” in Malibu), but only really see one person. Perhaps the storylines of supporting characters, portrayed by actors Henry Hopper and Amber Anderson, will unfold in additional episodes of the project, but for now, feast your eyes on the first (above), directed and edited by Franco. – Justine Harman LIKE BEHIND-THE-SCENES ACCESS? Courtesy Macy’s INC Max Irons may be the first-ever celebrity ambassador for Macy’s private label, INC, but that doesn’t mean the 26-year-old always takes a perfect photo. “There’s this picture of me once, I had white hair at the time, for a play,” he tells PEOPLE. “I was forced into it,” he continues. “I spent all my time in psychedelic underpants with blonde, block hair with a blue stripe down the middle. I’ve seen myself in a few situations trying to look rather serious with that look and it’s terrible. I’ll never do that again.” Mind-bending undies aside, these days you’re more likely to catch the actor wearing all black.
