The singer’s lighter look (she used to rock a deep reddish hue ) is the handiwork of colorist Lucy Holbrook at the Daniel Galvin salon in London. “We decided to color Adele’s hair a honey-colored blonde as it suited her complexion and really brought out the color of her eyes,” she explains. “It was important to elect a color with plenty of depth to complement the bouncy voluminous styles that she favors.” Lino Carbosiero, the salon’s creative director, was responsible for those Veronica Lake waves. “We made Adele’s hair shoulder-length and cut a long layer through the back so as to give her a bit of swing and some natural movement,” he explains.
