These shots after I woke up and realised what has  happened. It was an awesome scene to see the snow so deep. These are the last of all the photographs I have taken.

Yet another major snowstorm hit the New York City area overnight, dumping more than 15 inches of snow, forcing the city to close public schools and non-essential offices, and making a mess of the streets and transportation system. New York is going through one of the snowiest seasons on record, with almost 50 inches so far.

It is -30 degrees Celsius outside in the foothills of the Laurentians in Quebec Canada.  When you toss a cup of hot water into the air, it is so cold and dry that the cup of water totally vaporizes.  Watch.

This pic was taken last night at a house fire in Hudsonville , mi.  This is a georgetown firefighter that was called in to Hudsonville to assist with the fire. The air temp was around -5 so all there gear was freezing up. Blizzard Gone, NYC Goes On

New York City got its 6th biggest winter storm ever in terms of snow- 20 plus inches in Central Park, the official measuring location. On Tuesday, December 28th, things in Manhattan started getting back to normal….well, almost! Not the case in sections of Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx and specially Staten Island, where, in some areas, plows were slow to arrive.
