Images with people on the ground being hit or attacked in the streets by the security forces (Jandarmerie in Romanian) is something everybody saw in the past days in Bucharest, and we are all outraged. But we are expressing it without getting violent ourselves; if we do this, our cause and plea is lost. We are demanding justice and no corruption and we do this in a democratic way in a democratic country

I took about 200 pictures at Occupy K St in McPherson Square. It was a friendly community that looked out for each other and had a good relationship with the police. General Assembly (done twice a day) was conducted according to parliamentary procedure and the emphasis was on action through consensus. Participants ranged from the shoeless to those wearing leather shoes. It rained fairly heavily for much of the evening and GA was done under a large tarp that required any available hand supporting it for the duration of the assembly (over two hours).
