FIRST SNOW AT THE CHATEAU DE VERSAILLES, FRANCE The winter came in a fast one day finish to France at the Chateau de Versailles, near by Paris. Especially for the unusual winter photo, King Louis XIV came down from his base to the bottom. At the Chateau de Versailles the gates look quit unusual, but very friendly – the gates of a ministry of justice were closed these days. Volkér Kraft, CNN iReport

One day after a horrible storm crossed the midwest, I am driving across Iowa to see family. I notice many cars in the median and in the ditches along Interstate 80, so I decide to pull out my camera to document what I am seeing (I am the passenger).

Come take a midnight walk with me as I brave the wind and snow to bring you the story from my New York City neighborhood… Enjoy a walk through my neighborhood and meet some of my neighbors. It is true that New York City never sleeps and not even a snow storm and below freezing temperature keeps New Yorkers from going outside to run errands, dine, or walk their dogs even as the hour approaches midnight.
